If Only Donald Trump Grew Peanuts

Not that we would want President Donald Trump to be anything like the president that peanut grower,  Jimmy Carter was, but President Trump sure could use the same level of support for his attempts to protect the United States from Radical Islamic Terrorism that President Jimmy got.

From Aljazeera (I know, but I don’t make the news), “this is not the first time that the US has banned immigrants from its shores. Over the past 200 years, successive American presidents have placed restrictions on the immigration of certain groups.”

Here are six occasions when laws have been passed to restrict some people from entering the country.

Border Wall Construction Kit

From ABC News, “President Trump says Construction of Border Wall Will Begin in ‘Months’“.

During the interview, which took place at the White House this morning, Trump said that Mexico would pay the U.S. back “100 percent.”

He confirmed that U.S. taxpayer dollars would be used to start the construction but said reimbursement would follow.

“All it is, is we’ll be reimbursed at a later date from whatever transaction we make from Mexico,” he said. “I’m just telling you there will be a payment. It will be in a form, perhaps a complicated form. What I’m doing is good for the United States. It’s also going to be good for Mexico. We want to have a very stable, very solid Mexico.”

When asked about the start of construction, Trump said it would happen in “months.”

Santa’s Not Happy With Obama’s Feckless UN Abstention

Feckless, backstabbing, passive-aggressive, petulant child-man Barack Hussein Obama leaves Israel swinging in the breeze for historic Settlement Policy vote.  As reported by YahooNews, the “UN demands end to Israeli settlements after US abstains “.  And Santa is pissed.

The UN Security Council demanded that Israel halt settlements in Palestinian territory, after the United States refrained from vetoing a resolution condemning its closest Middle East ally.

In a rare and momentous step, the United States instead abstained, enabling the adoption of the first UN resolution since 1979 to condemn Israel over its settlement policy.

Applause broke out in the chamber after the text was passed with support from all remaining members of the 15-member council.
