Biden sweeps the South, wiping out Sanders’s delegate lead
The Washington Post – The day after Super Tuesday, the Democratic presidential candidates sought to navigate a reshaped race, following a resurgent former vice president Joe Biden’s sweep of the South and surprisingly strong showings in New England and the Upper Midwest, as he threatened to overtake Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) as the delegate leader.
Super Tuesday marked a disappointing debut for former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg, while Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) failed to claim any victories, including in her home state.
