**Any insinuation that Adam “Captain Ahab” Schiff’s tongue was stuck to Trump’s actual “Great White Whale” was unintended and coincidental. But now that you’ve seen it, it can not be unseen.
Just as Herman Melville’s Captain Ahab relentlessly pursued his “great white whale” in an around the world quest, Rachel Schiff continues to pursue zi/zir/their whale, Donald J. Trump. With Melville’s Ahab, it didn’t end well. In spite of his ship sinking, still out in his whaling boat, Ahab, continues to try to harpoon his nemesis, Moby Dick, one last time. His harpoon throw misses the great white whale and the harpoon’s rope becomes the noose around his neck that causes him to strangle and drown.
