Variety–Warner Bros. Discovery is shutting down CNN+ as of April 30, marking one of the company’s first significant maneuvers since completing the merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery less than two weeks ago.
The decision puts an abrupt end to an ambitious and aggressive venture that people familiar with the matter say rankled David Zaslav, the new CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, from the start. Zaslav was annoyed by the decision of Jason Kilar, the former CEO of WarnerMedia when it was owned by AT&T, to launch CNN+ just weeks before Discovery was set to take over operations. But he was unable to communicate with WarnerMedia management, owing to legal boundaries surrounding the merger process.
From now on whoever gets my Nielsen news rating eyeballs is gonna have to do it the old fashioned way. Earn it.
Conservative Network Newsmax Surges In Ratings – Already Beating The FOX Business Network
What The Fox!!??
American Lookout–FOX News may have made a colossal mistake. They had one of the most loyal audiences in cable television. But after their reportage of the 2020 election, and particularly election night, the landscape is changing fast.
Anger from their audience is already driving down FOX’s ratings.
Now, another right leaning network called Newsmax is getting a major boost from former FOX News fans.
Who’s the first, you ask? Joe Biden. But he has an excuse.
Well, Jake. Speaking of "bizarre conspiracy theories and smear campaigns spreading lies unmoored from reality"… How many times did you slobber over that deranged and indecent wack job, Michael Avenatti, on your show? Too many to count on your fingers and toes, I'll surmise.

Just kidding. I was trying out the newest headline writing style practiced by the Mainstream Media, called “Smolletting”. Here’s the real story brought to you by the ‘real’ CNN.
Can you tell what’s going on in this 2001 correction/apology published by the Ottawa Citizen?
The Ottawa Citizen and Southam News wish to apologize for our apology to Mark Steyn, published Oct. 22. In correcting the incorrect statements about Mr. Steyn published Oct. 15, we incorrectly published the incorrect correction. We accept and regret that our initial regrets were unacceptable and we apologize to Mr. Steyn for any distress caused b our previous apology.
I feel the offering deserves consideration as one of the top ten corrections of all time. Admittedly, though, it belongs at the bottom end of the list, due to the fact that it doesn’t actually tell you what the incorrect correction got wrong, or why the paper needed to apologize for its apology.
A drive-by sniping from CNN’s Jim Acosta caused Former White House adviser Sebastian Gorka to launch a loud, verbal barrage Thursday at the White House.
Multiple witnesses were aghast when they say Acosta saw Gorka, who just debuted his SALEM Radio Network show “America First,” and told him bluntly that media-related meetings with the president were for “real journalists” only. Gorka proceeded to berate Acosta at a high volume.
“Abilio ‘Jim’ Acosta, you are a dickhead,” Gorka fired back at Acosta.
Abilio James Acosta-Cortez…. Gorka's comments were a whole lot less about your name than your demeanor and deportment. He said, "“Abilio ‘Jim’ Acosta, you are a dickhead." You should own that with the same alacrity that you own your name.
