Paris Zoo Unveils Bizarre, Brainless ‘Blob’ Capable of Learning

The Paris Zoological Park is home to some 180 species, many of which would be considered standard zoo fare: zebras, giraffes, penguins, toucans, turtles and the like. But this week, the Zoological Park will unveil a new exhibit featuring a bizarre creature that has surprised and puzzled scientists for decades. It’s formally known as Physarum polycephalum, but zoo staff have dubbed it the “blob.”

Sometimes these things just write themselves.

It seems like every day a new story breaks about how Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) is climbing in the polls, releasing a new policy proposal, “winning” a primary debate or taking some other step toward becoming the Democratic presidential nominee. The volume and general positivity of Warren coverage has led some to believe that the media has collectively decided she should be the nominee and is doing everything we can to make it so.

Could it be, WaPo, that you forgot that ‘The Media’ is a beast that loves to feed at the same trough that the rest of the herd feeds.  Hence you get so many ‘Flavor of the Day’ stories.

There was Beto before started grabbing guns.  Then Kamala before she met Tulsi.  Then Joe when he finally got in, but started bleeding from the eyes – Ukraine…never heard of it.  And, of course, there’s  Mayor Pete before everyone found out that he was a self-righteous Alfred E. Neuman look a like.  Barney’s in the hospital, so we’ll leave him in Intensive Care with the rest of the also rans.

So with 13 months left until election, there’s plenty of time to see new favorites — and even old ones.  Hillary, mayhaps?

Darwin finds himself literally rolling on the floor laughing his ass off at his discovery of the, shall we politely say, “closed” nature of the New Democrats gene pool.  He finds this particularly ironic due to their fixation on making references to ‘cousins’ and ‘Arkansas’ and ‘Trump voters’.  But, of course, he notes sagely, anyone that believes “Socialism” works is a few genomes short of 23andMe.

Elizabeth Warren Fails Test

Oopsie!! “Elizabeth Warren listed race as ‘American Indian’ on Texas bar registration.”

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren listed her race as “American Indian” on a State Bar of Texas registration card in 1986, the Washington Post reported Tuesday.

The Post’s reporting represents a previously unknown instance of Warren claiming her race as Native American and the first document that appears to definitively show Warren making the claim in her own handwriting. According to the Post, Warren has previously declined to answer whether she or an assistant filled out forms in which her race was listed as Native American.

Warren’s longstanding assertions of having Native American heritage have dogged her political career and provided fodder for attacks from President Donald Trump. Her use of DNA testing to confirm her limited Native roots last year was met with fierce criticism from some Native American groups.
