ABC15 Arizona reports that a “‘Clown Lives Matter’ [is] march planned” for Tucson.  Let’s get in our clown cars and show our support.

Pope_Clowns_To_The_LeftOrganizers are planning a “Clown Lives Matter” march for October 15 in Tucson in reaction to the recent spate of frightening incidents — both real and imagined — spread in the news and on social media.

According to a flyer advertising the event, “this is a peaceful way to show clowns are not psycho killers. We want the public to feel safe, and not be afraid. So come out, bring the family, meet a clown and get a hug!”

The Chicago Tribune writes that Leonardo DiCaprio says, “Politicians who don’t believe in climate change ‘should not be allowed to hold public office’“.

“We must empower leaders who not only believe in climate change but are willing to do something about it,” DiCaprio said. “The scientific consensus is in, and the argument is now over. If you do not believe in climate change you do not believe in facts, or in science, or empirical truths, and therefore in my humble opinion should not be allowed to hold public office.”

Now, Leonardo, in my humble opinion, the only good use for your wind generators is to tie up your goats. Contemplate that on your trip to Mars.

Here’s another instance where the FBI Director, James Comey’s, email cover-up prevented the cross-pollination of yet another Hillary Clinton scandal.  From Politico, “Obama DOJ drops charges against alleged provider of Libyan weapons“.

Lawyers for the Justice Department on Monday filed a motion in federal court in Phoenix to drop the case against the arms dealer, an American named Marc Turi, whose lawyers also signed the motion.

The deal averts a trial that threatened to cast additional scrutiny on Hillary Clinton’s private emails as Secretary of State, and to expose reported Central Intelligence Agency attempts to arm rebels fighting Libyan leader Moammar Qadhafi.

hillary_oh_oh_After canceling a planned announcement in London, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is now planning to appear via video link Tuesday morning at Wikileak’s 10th anniversary celebration in Berlin. He’s a last-minute addition to the roster of festivities taking place this week in Germany. The change in venue appears to be related to what Wikileaks is clearly implying to be a perceived threat on Assange’s life.

CNN reports another feckless failure of Obama’s Syria-Russian Policy, “Syria: 2nd hospital destroyed by bombs as regime gains ground in Aleppo“.

obama_aleppo_is_toastYet another civilian hospital in Syria has been destroyed by airstrikes — this one in the country’s largest city.

At least seven people died and more remain trapped under rubble after “bunker-buster” bombs destroyed the M10 hospital in Aleppo on Monday, opposition activists from the Aleppo Media Center said.
Monday’s attack marked the third time in a week the M10 hospital was bombed. Airstrikes also pummeled the hospital, in rebel-held eastern Aleppo, last Wednesday and Saturday.
