More than 30 years after his much-hyped TV event turned out to be literally
nothing more than a cloud of dust, Geraldo Rivera gladly handed MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow the mantle of Al Capone’s vault Wednesday following her own much-hyped revelation of President Trump’s tax returns.
The revelation turned out to be only two pages from Donald Trump’s 2005 returns indicating he paid $38 million in total taxes.
That amounted to a 25 percent tax rate, higher than the 18.7 percent paid by former President Obama in 2015.
